WHAT’S INVOLVED?
The Westpac Youth Impact Challenge is a nationwide initiative open to all young people around Australia aged 7 to 21 years. The Challenge aims to help young Australians solve problems in their local communities. To take part in the Challenge, participants must identify a local problem and brainstorm an innovative business or social change idea to solve it. Participants can choose to work individually, or in a group of up to 3.
Registrations close Friday, 31 May 2024 at 4:00pm (AEST).
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS.

Entry is only open to Australian residents who are aged between 7 to 21 years old at the time of submission or before Friday, 31 May 2024. Young people in this age bracket who are not in traditional schooling or University can also apply.

If you are registering as a team, each individual team member must register for the Challenge separately and indicate your team name on the registration form.

You can submit as many ideas as you would like before the Challenge end date.

You can include any relevant links at the bottom of your business submission. This could be a website you’ve created, your business social media platforms, a pitch deck, a video or any additional items to support your submission.

Some submissions may solve more than one SDG. We ask that you select the SDG that best aligns with your business idea.

If you do not have your own email address, you may use a parent/guardians email or teacher with their permission. We need an email address to be able to contact you if your idea is shortlisted.

After the Challenge closes on Friday, 31 May 2024, the judging panel will review all submissions. You will be contacted about your submission soon after.
